And the horse you rode in on… Fresh Horseradish & Bloody Mary Recipe

I am dying to harvest this horseradish.

I cannot wait to make a Bloody Mary with my own homegrown freshly grated horseradish.

It is a long time till the first frost, but everyone needs a goal in life.

My current personal recipe is here. This post contains my prior recipe which is much more complicated but still awesome.

1/3 glass Ketel One Citroen Vodka

Dry ingredients each should be enough to cover the surface of the vodka in an even dusting:

  • Garlic powder
  • Celery seed
  • Cayenne powder
  • Homemade roasted pepper powder
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Wet ingredients about 1 1/2 teaspoons of each:

  • Soy
  • Worcestershire
  • A-1
  • Tabasco
  • Habanero Tabasco
  • Kosher horseradish

Additional ingredients:

  • Add 5 homemade olives.
  • Finish filling the glass with Spicy Hot V-8.
  • Stir with Stalk of Celery and leave in glass as a garnish.

What is amazing is that I can tell if I left anything out when I taste it.

Simple is usually better, but in this case the witches brew comes together.

I am salivating just thinking about it.

Current Location: Back Patio, drinking a Bloody Mary.
